Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the zoom meeting of the Business Education Study Program and the Study Program within the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia to explore international cooperation with the UiTM Malaysia campus to collaborate in the academic field including student exchanges and association activities. The activity was opened by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FPEB, Dr. Vanessa Gaffar, SE., Ak., MBA and also attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs as well as the Heads of Study Programs and lecturer representatives from each study program within the FPEB environment. The UiTM party was attended by leaders including Dr. Fadhly and related officials.
This activity includes discussing the discussions that have been conveyed in March 2020 where the most pending is due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and finally in 2021 it will be followed up again. This collaboration will be continued by creating a Whatapps Group as a further communication effort to discuss the collaboration that will be carried out between the two universities, especially FPEB.
This activity is very good in the efforts of the FPEB UPI Business Education Study Program to be recognized in Southeast Asia in 2025 as stated in the Vision of the Study Program for the next five years. The collaboration with UiTM has actually been carried out by the Business Education Study Program in 2019 especially in Community Service activities held in Lembang, especially with UiTM Jasin Campus. In this activity, UiTM distributed compensation in the form of basic necessities and books to the surrounding community.
Similar activities must continue to be improved with other campuses at least in one Southeast Asia region so that they can improve the ranking of Study Programs and generally for UPI.
