It’s been more than a month since the Covid-19 pandemic was announced by the Head of National Disaster Management, more than 5000 people have tested positive for newspapers as of Wednesday, December 15, 2020. Various efforts have been made by both the central and regional governments to minimize the spread of Covid-19, one of which is wrong. One is by implementing Work From Home (WFH) for State Civil Apparatus and the private sector, except for employees in vital sectors such as health workers and other public services. In addition to WHF, the government has also implemented social distancing and physical distancing, but because it has not been effective, the government has implemented Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), including those that have been carried out by DKI Jakarta, which is the epicenter of the Covid-19 pandemic. The City of Bandung will implement it next week.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on various sectors, including the education sector, where all students and college students study at home as recommended by the Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim. Lectures that are usually done face-to-face are now being replaced by using online (online learning).

The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic should not discourage students from studying, but they must be much more productive because there is a lot of time that can be used. Nearly 99.9% of Business Education Study Program students have been advised to return to their respective villages except for students whose areas are affected or close to the epicenter such as Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, they are not allowed to go home first and stay in their respective boarding houses until conditions improve.

In an effort to ease the burden on students who do not return, the Business Education Study Program provides assistance to students who do not return home.
