Bandung – Community Service Activities (P2M) Student Business Education Study Program Faculty of Economics and Business Education is an annual activity carried out. The P2M this time was in Nanggerang Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency. The implementation of this work program is carried out for 2 days starting from 7 – 8 January 2022.
Nanggerang Village is a village located in Cililin, West Bandung Regency. This village was chosen based on the survey results and several considerations that the village has several potentials that can be developed in it. The people of Nanggerang Village on average make a living as chili farmers, cassava farmers, and also kicimpring craftsmen. However, the people of Nanggerang Village also still have many obstacles in it such as the low level of education which on average is only up to junior high school level, then chili farmers who still lack knowledge in agricultural processing, so that sometimes small landslides occur during the rainy season, this is due to geographical conditions. Nanggerang village is located in the highlands with a fairly steep ground position.

On Friday, January 7, 2022, the committee will depart at 05.30 WIB with the committee meeting point at the UPI Education Museum. During the journey to the village, the access that was passed by us was quite difficult due to the narrow roads and uneven road surface structure. However, it did not dampen our intention to continue the journey.
The activity started with the opening at the Nanggerangan Village Office at 13.00 WIB in the form of a speech from the Chief Executive, BESA Student Trustees by Mr. Masharyono, AP., S.Pd., MM, President Director of BESA and finally closed by the Head of Naggerang Village then symbolically opened BESA UPI P2M activities in 2022 in Nanggerang Village through cutting of tumpeng rice. After the opening was over, the next agenda was to socialize how to brand and market a kecimpring product made by villagers through social media, then continued by presenting ideas or business opportunities by utilizing chili basic ingredients and cooking demonstrations which were practiced directly by the Committee. P2M BESA UPI 2022. The last agenda on the first day of P2M BESA UPI 2022 closed with learning activities for elementary school children in grades 1-3 about ideals and how to take care of themselves by singing what songs are allowed to be touched and not allowed to be touched by people other. In the learning process we use student-oriented learning methods and encourage children in the village to dare to appear in front based on what has been conveyed in the lesson. Every child who dares to come forward from the committee has prepared prizes for the 1st and 3rd place winners as a form of appreciation and motivation for the children.

The P2M BESA UPI activity on the last day on Saturday, January 9, 2022, began with a committee briefing, preparation and accommodation of gymnastics, then the gymnastics was carried out at 07.00 WIB, attended by women or local residents in Nanggerang Village, precisely in the office yard. Village. After the gymnastics activity ended, we distributed some clothes and basic necessities to the mothers who attended the activity. Some of the groceries and clothes that were left over from donations were entrusted to the village to be distributed or distributed. The next activity, the committee did community service by helping local residents, cleaning 2 mosque areas and roads in the village, installing road signs and the committee was invited by local residents to learn about the process of harvesting chili products. After all the series of events were completed, the committee gathered to eat together and then carry out ant operations in preparation for returning to their respective homes. (MH)
