In the midst of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of the management missionaries of the FPEB UPI Business Education Study Program, namely the Business Education Student Association, to legalize its management by holding a management inauguration event for the 2020-2021 period.
The inauguration of the BESA association board members was held online using a video conference application, Google Meet on Friday, May 8, 2020. Even though all invited guests could not attend due to technical problems with the internet network, this agenda continued to be attended by 159 administrators who carried out the inauguration, consisting of of 30 members of the Board of Commissioners and 129 members of the Board of Directors, and also attended by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs of FPEB, Dr. Lili Adi Wibowo, S.Pd., S.Sos., MM, Head of Business Education Study Program, Dr. Puspo Dewi Dirgantari, S.Pd., MT., MM, the head of the FPEB KEMA BEM, Muhammad Zeinny, and the chairmen of all FPEB associations.
The inauguration agenda took place in accordance with the technical and series of events that had been prepared by the committee recruited outside the candidate for the management of the association, starting with singing the anthem Indonesia Raya led by the conductor, Divia Rachmadia, followed by reading the Decree and reading the oath of the board led by the President Commissioner. BESA, Rayna Fiona Fridashaina, and the President Director of BESA, Hasbi Putra Pratama and repeated by the entire board of management, then closed with a speech from the Vice Dean for Student Affairs FPEB, Dr. Lili Adi Wibowo, S.Pd., S.Sos., MM, Head of Business Education Study Program, Dr. Puspo Dewi Dirgantari, S.Pd., MT., MM, head of BEM KEMA FPEB, Muhammad Zeinny. All of them are not much different in saying that although the inauguration activities are carried out online, it is hoped that BESA can provide the best so that everyone can feel the impact of BESA, both study programs, faculties, and even universities. The advice given is expected to be an introduction as well as a reference for the management to carry out their management.
For the management of BESA for the 2020 period, recruitment has actually been carried out since February and a definite management structure was formed last March, but due to the emergence of the Covid-19 corona virus outbreak, preparations for the inauguration have been slightly hampered. But hopefully, the delay in the time of the inauguration and also the implementation of the online inauguration will not make the board of directors lose their enthusiasm in carrying out the mandate for the next period.
