On Friday, March 26, 2021, in an effort to become a word class university, the Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia invited the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs; Vice Rector for Research, International, Cooperation and Business; Dean of FPEB; Heads of Study Programs within the Faculty of Economics and Business Education and Head of Masters Program in Accounting for the Graduate School, Head of Public Relations Office; and Head of International Cooperation Development Section. In a meeting held via the zoom application with the Uzbekistan State University of Economics in the context of exploring the Double Degree Program cooperation.
As a part of the Study Program located within the FPEB environment, the Business Education Study Program takes part and welcomes this program enthusiastically. In addition, in an effort to achieve the study program’s vision and mission and support UPI to become leading and outstanding.
The pattern that is carried out by UPI is:
1. The Double Degree 2+2 Plus International Outbound Industry Internship pattern versus college + inbound industry internship is new in Indonesia and Korea
2. Increasing Relevance and Connecting between Universities and Industry : Highlight Point at KEDAI REKA
It is hoped that many programs like this will have an impact on UPI’s ranking at the national and international levels. For Sustainability, apply to the Matching-Fund to support this program and help UPI students who will depart and link Industry. Besides that, it also discussed cooperation with the business world in improving student skills and supporting government programs in the KMMB launched by the Minister of Education Nadiem Makarim with Kedaireka.
