By starting 2021, to be precise, on January 30, 2021, the BESA management held the XIX General Session of Business Education, the theme of this XIX general assembly was “Realizing the Ideals of the Nation Through Organizational Actualization with High Integrity and Dedication”. the performance of the management of the Business Education Student Association for one year of management, namely the 2020/2021 period, then this session was also held with the aim of regenerating and reorganizing the management of the Business Education Student Association for the period 2021/2022, aligning the draft of the session according to the demands of the times, discussing and determining Business Education Student Association for the future and also to establish friendship between generations (Big Family of Business Education Student).
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, for the first time the XIX General Assembly of Business Education was held online by facing various obstacles, especially in terms of communication. However, with sufficient preparation, the XIX General Assembly of Business Education could be carried out quite well. The XIX General Assembly of Business Education was attended by representatives of the 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2017 classes and was attended by several invited guests. The session began with remarks from the President Commissioner and President of the Board of Directors of BESA for the 2020/2021 period, namely Rayna Fiona Fridashaina and Hasbi Putra Pratama, then continued with remarks from the Student Adviser, Mr. Masharyono, AP., S.Pd., MM. and the last is the remarks from the Vice Dean III of FPEB, Dr. Lili Adi Wibowo, S.Pd., S.Sos., M.M.
In detail, the agenda for the XIX General Assembly of Business Education activities begins with reading the holy verses of the Qur’an, singing the Indonesia Raya anthem, Report of the chief executive of SU XIX BESA, Message from the President Director of BESA 2020/2021, Speech by the BESA Trustees, Speech by the Deputy Dean III of FPEB, then the opening ends with a prayer and closing. After the opening session, the XIX General Assembly of Business Education officially began with the presentation of the event by the MC to the presidium of the session. During the XIX General Session of Business Education, mistakes were not made, starting from technical errors, especially in the internet connection of the performers and session participants so that the message was not conveyed properly and not all trial participants could turn on the camera during the activity, then there were also problems with video conferencing application used. However, the event can take place properly.
Finally, the core of the XIX Business Education General Assembly is a discussion on the management of BESA, starting from evaluating the performance of the management of BESA 2020/2021 to the regeneration and reorganization of the management of BESA 2021/2022. With this event, it is hoped that it can become a forum so that we can learn to express opinions and also learn democracy. Besides that, it is also hoped that this event can maintain the relationship between the Big Family of the Business Education Student Association.
